Optimal Race Weight
The results of this calculator are to be taken as approximations for optimal triathlon racing weight. Please Note: By "optimal weight" I am talking about what an elite/pro triathlete might weigh. This calculator is for "best case" fitness levels and is meant for fun, illustrative purposes.

Enter your gender, age and height and body type (A, B or C) to get optimal weight for you

A Note about Body Type

The Body Type drawings above are not truly indicative of what one means by body type. I'm working on better pictures. Here are descriptions you should use:

A: Thin boned, narrow hips & shoulders, "runner's build".

B: Medium boned, broad shoulders, chest & hips, "swimmer's build?"

C: Big boned, square body, sturdy composition, though not necessarily fat. Think of a football lineman. (American football, that is.)
